Music Monday

Wow, ok. So, it's been a while, but I have a good reason!

...

Actually, no, I don't. I have no real reason at all, actually. BUT, I'm back. For today, at least.

So, I just found this new anime (well, new to me) called Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings. It has an AMAZING soundtrack. It was done by the same guy who did the Attack on Titan soundtrack, Hiroyuki Sawano. And I LOVE the AoT soundtrack. So, for Music Monday, here's a little taste of the Sengoku Basara Soundtrack:

And, just for the heck of it (and because it's epic), here's one of the songs from the AoT soundtrack, too:

Music Monday - Free! OST!

Ok. There's this anime called Free! that I absolutely LOVE. (And if you haven't read my Fangirling post about it, here it is: Click on this and love it)

FUNIMATION IS MAKING AN ENGLISH DUB OF ETERNAL SUMMER AND I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED BECAUSE J. MICHAEL TATUM IS GOING TO BE REI AND I TOTALLY CALLED IT AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY I AM THAT IT'S J. MICHAEL TATUM AND NOT ANYONE ELSE BECAUSE HE'S AN AMAZING VA AND I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND WHEN I FIRST WATCHED FREE, I COULD JUST HEAR J. MICHAEL TATUM'S VOICE COMING OUT OF REI'S MOUTH AND COULDN'T IMAGINE ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry. This is music Monday, not Fandoms, Feels, and Fangirling Friday. Although, this will contain a little bit of fangirling because I LOVE the Free! music. It's amazing. It has the right amount of dubstep, orchestral, and just plain awesomeness.

For our first song, it's called Beginning Beat.
I couldn't get the video to go on this page, so here's a link to it.

Ugh. And I couldn't find any of the other Eternal Summer (season two) songs on youtube, but here's the link to the whole OST for the first season:
Disc 1
Disc 2

My favorites:
Disc 1
- Taste the Satisfaction
- Strong Rival Team
- Beautiful Sea
- Crisis of Life
Disc 2
- Strong Swim
- Sound of Sunset
- Sense of Defeat
- Time of Competing
- Splash Free

Sorry, but I don't want to find all of those individual videos on Youtube. But, yeah. That's the first season of Free's soundtrack. And I love it so. It's probably one of my favorite anime soundtracks.

Anyway, that's it for today's Music Monday. :)

Music Monday!

Well, here we are again on Music Monday. And I wish that I could share more than just one song, but... Wait. What's stopping me? This is my blog, and I can do whatever I want, goshdangit!!!

We're going to stick with one band, because that seems logical to me. And that band is Memphis May Fire.

I love them. I kind of discovered them through listening to Matty Mullins, the lead singer. He made his own self-titled album and it's amazing. He's Christian, and all of his lyrics have such wonderful meanings behind them.

He writes the lyrics based on his personal experiences and feelings. That's what I love about Memphis May Fire and Matty Mullins. He's phenomenal.

So, for our first song, it's from the album "Unconditional".

It's called "Beneath the Skin". You might want to look up the lyrics if you don't usually listen to Metalcore... Or maybe you should look them up anyway, because there's so much power behind the lyrics. And I think everyone should listen to this, or at least read the lyrics.

For our next song, it's from their album "Challenger".

This one is called Legacy.
I respect Matty Mullins because he really doesn't give a crap about what other people think of his music. He does it because it's what he loves and he says what he thinks.

I think a lot of people are scared of Metalcore  because it's got a lot of minor keys, but the words can have SUCH power. Like this band, and that's why I love them.

Fandoms, Feels, and Fangirling on Friday! - Ouran High School Host Club

From left to right: (Front) Kyoya Otori, Tamaki Suoh, Mitsukuni "Hunny" Haninozuka, (Back) Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka, Hikaru Hitachiin, Kaoru Hitachiin

Ok, I have to say that Ouran High School Host Club was the first anime I watched (that I can remember, at least), and it will forever be number one in my book. I'm not really a shoujo-watching girl (I'm more of a shounen-watcher, depending on what it is, I guess...), but with this one, I love it. It's just freaking hilarious, and even the manga is great. I haven't read all of it, but it's wonderful and beautiful.

So, let's start with the characters, shall we?

First up, the King: Tamaki Suoh.
(LOOK AT HOW CUTE LITTLE TAMA-CHAN IS!!!!!)

He's adorable. Tamaki is the most dramatic of the host club, but there is so much more to him than just being a drama king. That's what I love about anime. The characters are always so much more than they seem and it's absolutely lovely. Plus, in the English dub, Tamaki is voiced by Vic Mignogna, who is one of my favorite voice actors of all freaking time.

Next there's the vice president of the club (aka "Mommy"): Kyoya Otori
Kyoya is my absolute favorite host, no doubt in my mind. He's the most level headed of them all, and he's the one who does all the finances and stuff. Plus, I kind of feel like Kyoya sometimes. I mean, just when you get into some of the later episodes, I connect with him on a spiritual level.
(Kyoya feels pretty, and nothing can convince me differently. He's hiding his smile with that fan)

Anyway, next are the twins, Hikaru and Kaoru (the little devils).
So, the twins. Where do I even start with these two?! I have to say that I am most like Hikaru, the older one. He's kind of got abandonment issues and he's a little more mischievous than Kaoru, as pointed out by Haruhi in one of the episodes about how she could tell them apart. Kaoru is more... Hmm... I guess you could describe him as the nicer twin. He's more considerate of people than Hikaru is. Hikaru is pretty selfish.
However, they're definitely both the little devil type and love to pull pranks and tricks on people. But they do have their moments where they act like little kids. For example:
My best friend and I have decided that we're the twins (we sometimes have moments like theirs, too...). I'm Hikaru and she's Kaoru.

Next up is Mori.
He's not my favorite. He's very stoic and doesn't say much.

And last is Hunny.
Ah, the shota. The lovable little boy that is actually kind of creepy... O.o

Anyway, that's Ouran. I would say a lot more about it, but I can't really say things without giving away spoilers, so... Yeah. I will say that I've seen this show multiple times and I love it SO much. And I cry whenever I watch the last few episodes. So, be prepared for emotional trauma. Yeah.

That's it for this Fandoms, Feels, and Fangirling Friday!

Music Monday - Sunrise

I love my metal music, but when these bands do acoustic covers of their songs, it just makes me shiver with happiness. Especially when the original song is super beautiful like this song. Our Last Night is an amazing band. Their album "Oak Island" is great and I bought it.

But, anyways, here's the acoustic version of "Sunrise". Also, go check out the original version because it is also phenomenal.

It's wonderful.

Music Monday!!!

Yep, it's Music Monday.

So, this is another kind of hardcore song, but it's not bad. In fact, this is probably one of the most inspirational songs I have ever heard. And the band We Came As Romans is awesome and amazing and I love them.

I love this song.

Fandoms, Feels, and Fangirling on Friday! - Free! Iwatobi Swim Club

Ok, just a warning, THIS WILL INCLUDE SO MANY FANGIRLING!!!!!!!!!!! And, yes, I realize that made absolutely no sense, but I'm a fangirl, and I don't even care. Especially when it comes to this show.

There are so many feels, you don't even know...

So, this show is called Free! Iwatobi Swim Club. (And I have an entire fanboard on Pinterest devoted to this show.) Let's start with the basics: Characters. Oh, and this is an anime that is NOT English dubbed, so it has subtitles (WHICH I HATE, btw), but I love this show with most of my heart. (After all, I can't say ALL of my heart because it's split into WAY too many fandoms to count...) Even though I usually can't stand subs, I watch Free! because of the beautiful men amazing plot. I say "beautiful men" somewhat jokingly because I really do love the plot, but the guys are very attractive. And I just get so emotionally attached to the characters that I have cried MANY times while watching this show. Anyway, let's get on with it. Characters. In the order that I like them. (Not that I hate any of them, I love them all.)

First up: Makoto Tachibana. And, just because little Mako is probably one of the most adorable things I have ever  seen in my entire life, here's a gif:
And, here's another gif of him because he's an angel:
I could watch this gif all day...

So, Makoto is the captain of the swim team and his specialty is the backstroke. He's a little bit of a scaredy-cat, which I find super adorable. Plus, he's super sweet and looks out for his teammates. I think he's my favorite because he kind of reminds me of my best friend (who's my soul mate in best friend form), and he's so precious!!! I mean, look at him sleeping! He's so cute!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Ok, enough fangirling about Mako. Moving on.

VERY close second favorite is Rin Matsuoka (Shark-Boy).

AND RIN IS TOTALLY ADORABLE, TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
And here's another gif of him when the sharky grew up:

See what I mean?! Beautiful men... *drool*

Anyway, what was I talking about? ...
Oh yeah. Rin. Haha. Just because this picture makes me laugh every time I see it, I need to put it on here.
(I'll get to who's with him in a minute.)
Rin. Ok, at first I absolutely HATED the sharky, but I grew to love him by season 2. And this show's ongoing, and they've done 10 episodes of season 2 so far.

Ok, I am getting REALLY distracted, and I apologize. This is my inner fangirl making itself known, ok?! Don't judge me!!!

Anyway, Rin. He doesn't go to Iwatobi high with Mako, Rei, Haru, and Nagisa. He goes to their rival school, Samezuka (which is an all boy school). But I love Rin so much. He swims the fastest with butterfly, but he swims freestyle because his lifelong goal is pretty much to beat Haru... That's another reason I love this show. The characters are so much deeper than you think they would be.

If I talk about Rin anymore, I might start crying, so we're moving on.

Moving on to Haru!!!
*cue tears because of all the feels associated with this character*
Haruka Nanase is pretty much the main character, I guess. He's totally obsessed with water. Like, he swims in the outdoor pool at Iwatobi high when it's probably, like, fifty degrees outside. That's how much he loves water.

Next up is Rei Ryugazaki.
Rei is totally adorable, and he's... He's a nerd, honestly. He's all about calculations and beauty. But he's definitely an interesting character.
Sometimes I worry about the fandoms that I'm in...

Next up is Nagisa Hazuki.
'Nuff said. This kid is the adorable, shota type who you can't hate at all. Plus, he loves food. And he's a pretty deep character. When you get into season 2... GAH, FEELS!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, there are a lot more characters I could talk about, but let's just end with Sosuke Yamazaki (aka the one I hate in season 2).
(And, yes, even though this gif is SUPER adorable, I still hate him.)

This kid... UGH. There are WAY too many feels to even tell you about from this show. Like, I honestly can't even. I was watching the latest episode on Wednesday (cause on Wednesdays we swim free!!!) and I got five minutes in and I was honestly bawling my eyes out. FIVE. FREAKING. MINUTES. IN. GAH!!!! Too many feels that it just hurts. And not in the way the Attack on Titan or D.Gray-Man does (aka killing off all the characters that you love). It's a... It's a more realistic way, I guess. Like, in the way that it could happen to anyone.

And I just love the relationships the guys have. It's just all so amazing and I love it.

And that's the fandom for this week!!! (This one will probably be my least coherent one... Just cause there are way too many feels and I can't even...)

Tune in next week (or, more likely, the week after) for the next fandom, which will probably be either D.Gray-Man or Attack on Titan!!! :D

UPDATE/EDIT:

So, Funimation bought the rights to the second season of this show, and I am SO freaking excited for who the English cast is going to be. I so called some of them.

Makoto is being voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch. I am super excited because his voice is beautiful, and I can totally see it. Plus, he sings the lead in his band Eyeshine. It's also quite the good fit because the Japanese guy who voices Makoto also sings the theme songs, and the lead of his band OLDCODEX.

Rin is being voiced by one of my absolute favorite VA's ever, Vic Mignogna. Although, I'm a little skeptical because Rin's voice is low and kinda sexy, but Vic's voice isn't as low as Rin's Japanese voice is. And I LOVE Vic, but I'm kinda scared he'll screw it up...? I dunno. I won't knock it till I watch it. Fun fact: he voiced Tamaki Suoh in Ouran High School Host Club.

Haru's going to be voiced by another one of my favorites, Todd Haberkorn. I did not see it coming, but I am completely ok with him. I really do love Todd as well, and at first I was a little skeptical. But there's a scene later in the season that absolutely breaks my heart, and I'm excited because when I watched it again, I could totally hear Todd's voice doing that part (in my head). So, I'm pumped. Fun fact: He voiced Hikaru Hitachiin in Ouran.

Rei. I TOTALLY called who Rei was going to be voiced by: J. Michael Tatum. When I started watching Free! I wanted Tatum to voice Rei SO BAD. AND HE IS, SO ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD. I was so happy when they announced him, because I told myself that if Tatum wasn't voicing Rei, then I wouldn't even watch the English dub. But Funimation did well, and chose him. Tatum is also a favorite. (Plus, he's also pretty handsome...) Fun fact: He voiced Kyoya Otori in Ouran.

Totally called Nagisa's VA as well: Greg Ayres. He voiced Kaoru Hitachiin in Ouran. (I'm sensing a pattern here, yes?) But he's done a lot of characters that are kind of boy-ish, shouta-ish, so I wasn't surprised by this one and totally called it.

I really wanted Sosuke to be voiced by Travis Willingham (who did Mori in Ouran) becuase I LOVE his voice and he's great, but he's not. Which might've been a good move on Funi's part, because a lot of the fans are upset that the Ouran cast seems to be getting back for a reunion, but I am TOTALLY ok with it because I love all of the VAs. But Funi has a limited cast, so I'm not surprised. Plus, I don't get why people were getting so worked up about the Ouran people reuniting, because they've done it before, people just haven't really made a big deal about it before. At least, not that I've noticed.

Anyway, Sosuke's being voiced by Ian Sinclair. I'm ok with it, because he has the timbre to his voice as Travis does, so I'm ok. Plus his eyes are freaking BEAUTIFUL. I MEAN, LOOK AT THEM!!!!!

Music Monday

Music Monday is going to be a new thing I do. So, here's the first installment.

Recently I've discovered the amazing world of screaming heavy metal, thanks to a coworker. And, despite my original thoughts to avoid it at all costs (because, y'know, being a Mormon and everything, we avoid things that have the potential to drive away the spirit), I really enjoy it. If you actually listen to the lyrics, they can actually be really motivational. For example, my new favorite song is called "Run Free" and it's by Asking Alexandria. Here's the official music video:

I've also learned something recently... Well, not really recently, because we're all told this from the time that we're little, but it never really sunk in until now: You can NOT judge a person by the way they look (like if they're super scary and intimidating looking). I've just started to realize that. I mean, there are some people that I just wouldn't associate with at all because they were all tattooed up and just very intimidating looking. But I've recently figured out that that's not always the case. A lot of times people who have tattoos are extremely nice and... I don't know. I guess it's just that I've realized that, and it hadn't really ever made its way into my life because I haven't really known any people with tattoos.

I was talking to one of my coworkers and we were saying how people judge other people who are super tattooed. I think it's just the stigma that's stuck criminals with tattoos. However, if you take the time to talk to people who have tattoos, a lot of them are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Like, they're nicer than some other people around the world.

But you just can't judge people. That's what I'm getting out, I guess. I guess I've just had my eyes opened to things that I'd never thought about before for some reason. I suppose I've actually been using my brain (trying to, at least...) instead of just thinking about nonsense like I usually do.

But enough about that, cause this is Music Monday, not weird Existential/Ranting Monday. But, yeah. That's my rant for today, and I'll see whoever the heck reads these things next time! (Maybe...)

Fandoms, Feels, and Fangirling on Friday! - Psycho-Pass

Have you guys ever watched something and you finish it and then you're just so done with everything involving that show? (And yet you still rave about it to people because of how amazing it was and you can't stop thinking about it and how much you just want the characters to be real because they're all just so precious and you really wish the guys were real because your expectation of what men are supposed to be like has been raised exponentially by freaking animated characters?!?!?! ...Yeah. That's my life... I maybe take my shows a little too seriously...)

That's what happened with me and Psycho-Pass. It's a SUPER interesting and amazing anime that I randomly found while trying to find more anime to watch. This is who the characters are:

All of them. Ko is FIIIIIIINE.

(From left to right: Yayoi Kunizuka, Shusei Kagari, Akane Tsunemori, Shinya Kogami, Nobuchika Ginoza, and Tomomi Masaoka)

To give a little overview about it, it's based in the future (2112 or 2113, somewhere around there) where the Sibyl System runs the crime system, pretty much. The Sibyl system allows Police Inspectors to judge a person's Crime Coefficient and their Hue. The Crime Coefficient is how apt a person is to commit a crime. Anything  below 100 is normal. Above 100 to a certain degree, the person is brought in to therapy (whether by force or if they come voluntarily is completely up to them). However, if their Crime Coefficient is too high, then they're labeled as a Latent Criminal and they can't operate as a normal person in society. I think it also depends on their hue. If a person is completely relaxed, their hue is a pure white. However, the more stressed they get, the cloudier their hue gets, and they're forced to participate in therapy. So, if a person's Crime Coefficient isn't capable of going down and it's between 100 and 300, the person is a Latent Criminal. Ok. Let me back up, because I have to explain how the Sibyl system judges these people.

The Inspectors use a gun known as a Dominator. Here's what it looks like:

So, the Police (Or Ministry of Welfare Public Safety Bureau) use these Dominators. The Dominators are connected to the Sibyl System and tell the holder (using a voice that only the holder can hear) if the person is normal or a latent criminal.

So, the Dominators have three levels: Non-lethal Paralyzer Mode, Lethal Eliminator, and Destroy Decomposer. The Paralyzer mode is used on Latent Criminals with Crime Coefficients between 100 and 300. The Lethal Eliminator is used on Latent criminals whose CCs are over 300, because there's no hope for them. The highest CC in the show was 472, which is freaking crazy.

But, oh my goodness, this show. All of the characters are SO amazing, and my favorites are Kogami, Ginoza, Masaoka, and Kagari. I mean, Kogami is Mr. Fanservice, no doubt in my mind. He does have a few shirtless scenes, after all.

But GINOZA, OHMAGOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That man... At first I freaking hated him at first because he was a total jerk to the Enforcers and...

Crap. I forgot to explain that part.

Ok, so in the PSB, there's Inspectors and Enforcers. Inspectors are just normal police officers, pretty much. Enforcers are latent criminals who work with the PSB as, as Ginoza put it, hunting dogs. They just help the Inspectors with their jobs, but they can still be Paralyzed by the Dominators because they're latent criminals and their CCs are over 100, but not over 300 (or they'd be dead).

But Ginoza was a jerk to the Enforcers, but then you learn some things about him, and... I cried, not gonna lie. And then you learn about Kogami, and Yayoi, and... Eh, not so much about Kagari, althou - Oh, wait, never mind. You do. Oh, and Masaoka. I cried when I learned some things about him, too.

Ok, if you're going to watch Psycho-Pass, DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, LOOK ANYTHING UP ON THE PSYCHO-PASS WIKIPEDIA PAGE BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I say this from experience.

Although, even though I knew some things were going to happen, I still cried. I cried deeply, and many, many tears.

When certain things happened (that I knew were coming eventually), I literally started throwing things around, screaming at my computer, and crying. It was SO not ok. Like with the last two episodes, this gif completely describes exactly what I was feeling:

But, it is a PHENOMENAL show, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who loves action anime. There's really no romance in it (although there are a few ships), and one thing that I learned about it that made me EXTREMELY happy was that the writer of the anime, Gen Urobuchi, refused to add yaoi fanservice to attract the female audience. (If you don't know what yaoi is, don't look it up. Just revel in your innocence.) But it just made me happy because I don't like yaoi, and there are many instances where yaoi would have fit in perfectly with the show, and yet he didn't add it in. Oh, and another thing, the director cried at the last episode's script. (So, if you watch it, you have that to look forward to. I cried SOOOO hard during the last episode, and I'd been expecting it. Just... SO many feels, I couldn't even handle it.)

But this show (multiple times) brutally ripped out my heart, threw it on the ground, stomped on it, lit it on fire, and danced on its grave. Multiple times, I told myself that I was so DONE with it, and yet... I can't get the idea out of my head. I mean, pretty much all the characters are VERY well-rounded, especially Ginoza, Kogami, Masaoka, and Akane. (And freaking Makashima...) But that's seriously what I love about anime. I have yet to see one that had all flat characters. I mean, yeah, there are some characters that are a little bit flat and don't get much development *coughShioncough*, but mostly there are characters who have such lovely back stories and I just want to hug them and tell them that everything will be ok. I just want to hug all of the characters in Psycho-Pass and tell them that everything will be ok.

BUT IT WON'T HAPPEN BECAUSE THEY'RE ANIMATED AND NOT REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *cries dramatically in corner*

ANYWAY, this was really long, and if you hadn't seen my fangirl side before, I apologize, because I'm pretty sure that was a little bit painful for everyone...

But, if this extremely weird and fangirlish review of this show sparked your interest and you want to go watch it, it's on Hulu. And I hope you enjoy it and are ready for buckets of feels to be dumped on you should you choose to accept your mission go watch this amazing anime. :)

Adieu, people!

P.S. And, just for the heck of it (because I honestly found this gif hilarious and laughed at it for about five minutes), here is probably the most random gif of Ginoza ever. :)

Hahahahaha!!!!!!! What even?

Next week will probably be  (So many feels from that show, you have no freaking idea. That week will probably be me just typing out screaming, because that's pretty much what that show reduces me to every time I watch the newest episodes.)

Superhero Wednesday! - Superman

This is going to become a thing on here. I'm a nerd, and I'm not really afraid to let everyone know it. So, every Wednesday, I'll post about a superhero. (I'll try to stick with DC because I like DC a WHOLE lot more than I like Marvel, but... We'll see... I also might get into the villains of the DC universe because they're all pretty dang awesome, too. Especially Darkseid. That dude is scary.)

I'll start with the original seven members of the Justice League, then move on to the rest of the Justice League as time goes on. (And if you're not familiar with the Justice League, there are a BUNCH of members, and they're all so amazing. And I'll pretty much just focus on the Justice League cartoon.)

Oh, and if I ship any members of the JL with anyone HARDCORE, I'll do a bonus post the next week JUST about the ship. Like, there are a few ships in Justice League that I ship SOOOO hard. But you'll just have to find out about those when they come up. *insert maniacal laugh here*

This week we'll start off with the big boy in blue himself: Superman.

First off, we all know that he's from Krypton, which blew up and he's the last Kryptonian. We all know his weakness is Kryptonite, but its power is blocked by iron, and so if you just put some iron in front of the Kryptonite, then he has all his powers back. However, his powers come from the radiation of our yellow sun. If put into a room with a red sun's radiation, he's powerless.

Don't get me wrong, I think Superman is pretty cool, but there are some things about him that just make me mad. Like the fact that Kryptonite can be blocked by iron. Like, what the heck? If he's going to have a weakness, LET IT BE A WEAKNESS. Don't give him a loophole to get out of that weakness!!!

However, there are some episodes of Justice League where I gain much respect for Supey. Such as the episode(s) "A Better World". It's a two-part episode, and it is PHENOMENAL. It's definitely one of my favorite episodes of the entire series.

It starts in an alternate universe where Superman kills Lex Luthor and then the team of superheroes takes over the world. And... It just shows a darker side of Superman that is just so awesome. It shows a darker side of the whole Justice League, because the Justice Lords are pretty much their evil counterparts. I think the thing I love most about it is their costumes. This is Superman's:
It's so much different than his regular costume that... UGH!!!! It's such a good episode. *fangirls and flails wildly*

But one thing that I really love about how DC portrays Superman is in the show Young Justice, which is about the younger versions of the superheroes in the Justice League. There's Kid Flash, Aqualad, Robin, Speedy, Superboy, Miss Martian, and many others.

But the thing about Superman and Superboy's relationship is * SOMEWHAT OF A SPOILER ALERT* that Superboy is Superman's clone, created by CADMUS, to destroy Superman if he ever goes rogue. So, of course, Superman is a pretty skeptical of Superboy. *END OF SPOLER* This picture pretty much captures the essence of their relationship:
It's just kind of adorable and sad because Superboy just wants to be loved by Superman because he considers the Superman to be his father figure, but Superman wants nothing to do with Superboy. And as the series progresses, it just gets more and more sad. But that's what makes an awesome TV show. All them feels, though...

Anyway, I think that's about it for this first edition of Superhero Wednesday. Let me know what you guys thought, and what your opinion of Superman is.

Next week will be about our favorite boy in black, Batman!!!
The voice of the BEST Batman, Kevin Conroy :)

Hello, Blogging World!!!

Well, here I am, inevitably part of the Blogging world. (And good gracious, I can't type right now.)

So, I suppose I should introduce myself...?

...

Umm... Well, I'm going to college and I'm majoring in English Education with a minor in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language). It's summer time right now, so I'm just kind of doing my own thing (which is working and earning money so I can go back to college).

A coworker of mine suggested that I start a blog, because he jokingly tells me that I'm useless and my life is going in circles (which it pretty much is, honestly), and I'm of no use other than to write and tell stories. (And holy cow, you have no idea how many typos I've made in the past sentence.) So, here I am. Awkwardly sitting in my family room on the couch in my parents' house... Alone...

Yeah. I'm new to this whole "Blogging" thing, can you tell?

So, I'm just gonna type and see what happens.

...

Well... I have a pretty good job, and I love all my coworkers, and I get along with all of them pretty well. I like to think of them as a kind of extended family. Because not all of them are like brothers and sisters, some of them are more like those really cool aunts and uncles that you love to hang out with, and some of them are like cousins.

Anyway, I'm gonna say that that's good enough for now, because it's almost eleven o'clock at night, and I'm extremely tired because I had an eight hour shift at work today (retail, mind you), and I have yet another eight hour shift tomorrow that starts at eight thirty in the morning. And I am not a morning person. Ha. There are many entertaining/frightening stories that I could tell about me in the morning.

But, alas, that will have to wait.

Adieu, people!!! (Whoever the heck reads this... If anyone...)
